The largest Ceramics & Craft Show in Auckland is taking place at Takapuna Primary School Hall, Anzac St, opposite Takapuna Markets & Westfield Shore City Mall, Takapuna, Auckland on Sunday 22 August from 9am to 3pm.

The show will feature top crafts people from around New Zealand who will demonstrate, display and sell their crafts.  
 

There will be booths selling beautiful, one-of-a-kind ceramics & craft creations including ceramics supplies of greenware and bisqueware, tools and brushes. There will also be ceramic painting, handpainted ceramic giftware, pickles and relishes plus many more crafts.

 

On display at the show is a Ceramics Competition with entries from all over New Zealand. Trophies will be awarded to recognise the winners at the prize giving ceremony on Sunday at 3pm which will be attended by a representative of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

The organisers - Ceramics Society NZ- have pledged to donate 25% of the admission fee to this worthy charity to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness and will be collecting donations from the public on show day. In support the show will be displaying a "pink" theme.

 

The main emphasis of this different and exciting showcase for crafts is on public participation.  There will be a Peoples Choice Vote to decide the winner of the "Pink" fun section.  There will be demonstrations, craft sessions and Ceramic Painting -all geared for the young and old to discover the arts and have an enriching experience.

 

There will be Raffles at the door.  Children can be entertained with Face Painting, the Disney Movie Corner and the Play Area.  The Café will provide excellent home-baked cakes and slices, toasted sandwiches and refreshments for everybody.
