Scholarship Programme

In 2004, The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation launched a scholarship programme for Radiation Therapists and Medical Imaging Technologists (Mammography). Since 2004 to the present, the Foundation has progressed the scholarship programme so as to assist more individuals working in the broad field of medicine and breast cancer.

Medical Imaging Technologists (Mammography)
The second Foundation scholarship programme is for Medical Imaging Technologists who are undertaking the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science (Mammography) at Unitec NZ.  In 2009, the value of each scholarship will be $2,500.
