The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation has become one of the country’s most trusted charitable organisations. You can get involved and help make a difference! Many volunteers who help us with fundraising and education do so because they feel they are contributing to a worthwhile cause by way of their time, energy and expertise. Our volunteers often tell us that they have been touched by breast cancer in some way, whether it is personally or because they have helped a friend or loved one fight the disease. They feel a real sense of personal achievement by using their personal and professional experiences to assist us in preventing New Zealanders from developing and dying from breast cancer. Volunteers are also a key component in the promotion of our community outreach programmes which provide physical and emotional support to New Zealanders living with breast cancer. Our volunteers can help us to expand our programmes and services to other centres so that more women can benefit. Whether you have a whole day to spare or just a few hours, the Foundation welcomes your contribution – the amount of time you give is up to you. Yes! I can put my hand up to help The Foundation take ACTION against breast cancer.
